Reality about Popularity

Lots of studies show that most popular kids experience a range of problems in early adulthood.
While cool teens are often idolized and admired in social media or at there schools. The often start seeking attention by trying to act older than one's age may not bring the expected benefits, according to the studies.
Some researchers follow teens from age 13, when they were in seventh and eighth grades, to age 23, collecting information from the teens themselves as well as from their peers and parents. The teens attended public school.

Teens who are romantically involved at young ages, most likely engaged in criminal activity, and are most likely to hanging out with physically attractive persons. Most of them were thought to be popular by their friends at age 13. By ages of 22, those who were once ''Popular'' teens were seen by their ex classmates as being less competent and more obsess with social media seeking validation. They are also more likely to have significant problems with alcohol and drugs, and to have acted in criminal activities.

Its most probably that the teens you think are so Popular and Flawless in the future they will be spending more time seeking attention and validation from other. Maybe by using drugs, drinking alcohol or acting like free spirits when it comes to relationships.

In conclusion if you seek popularity don't just be yourself and don't seek validation or acceptance from everyone and if you are popular remember that popularity doesn't last for ever.
